Wander into Richmond when you find the time, with wonderful adventures to be enjoyed such as the Castle Walk, or a stroll alongside the River Swale where there are parks, safe paddling areas and small waterfalls to visit.

A weekly market and the selection of shops, pubs and restaurants are not to be missed. The area has something for everyone along with an outstanding holiday providing a perfect combination for a memorable holiday.

The village of Richmond holds a weekly market and monthly farmers’ market, whilst there are also numerous shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy. The town flourished in the 18th and 19th centuries and the Georgian architecture continues to line many of the old streets. There are walks to be enjoyed such as the Castle Walk, or alternatively stroll alongside the River Swale where there are parks, safe paddling areas and scenery to admire.
