The spacious living room with polished wood floors, beamed ceiling and open fire is warm and welcoming with views over the open countryside to the front and rear. A large enclosed garden and paved patio is perfect for children as well as adults who can relax and enjoy a barbecue whilst admiring the views of the dale. The ground floor offers wheelchair access along with a bedroom and spacious wet room.

We loved our stay at Scar House Farm. We were a group of 10 and it was very comfortable. The owner had kindly left us some nice biscuits and it had all the basics there. We had a slight issue that the cleaner had forgotten to leave tea towels - I rang cottages.com but they weren’t very helpful and said said they weren’t provided- not true and the owner kindly brought us some round. We go away every year and would probably take some in future as pretty stuck without them and cottage.com says not provided unless stated! Don’t think that’s the case at all.
