I have fire safety concerns with this property. The only fire escape route is via the apartment door followed by the outside door. The outside door was reported in October 2024 as having an "unreliable lock".On our third day we and the upstairs occupiers also had difficulty with it and reported it to the caretaker. When we left four days later, nothing had been done about this lock. We had to contact the caretaker and owner on that third day because we could not unlock our apartment door. The caretaker said that this was the second lock out this year; it was in the visitors book for May 2025. The Locksmith reluctantly replaced the lock after I had voiced my concern about the fire safety hazard. The dismantled lock showed that the central core of the mechanism had broken off completely. We received no apology from the owner only a self congratulatory text about the quick response they had made.

Spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped. A lot of thought has gone into making this property ideal for holiday makers. Thoroughly recommend, and thanks to the owners, Cottage team.
