Violet Jessop, a well-known Titanic survivor lived in Daisy Green and a blue plaque marks her cottage. Wyken Vineyard is nearby and provides a beautiful array of services with restaurant, bistro, Saturday farmers market, gardens, and vineyard walk, and of course their own wines. Neighbouring village Elmswell is within easy access and has shopping facilities, takeaways, and village pubs. Just a short drive is Bury St Edmunds with Abbey Ruins.
