Situated in Gisleham, the adjoining buildings offer spacious accommodation for the whole family or a group of ten, brimming with character and historic charm. Whether inside beneath original exposed beams or outside in the vast garden, you can admire far-reaching farmland views all day long.
On entry to the biggest of the two properties, the hallway offers a space to leave shoes, coats and outdoor gear. Make yourselves at home in the lounge, complete with stylish wooden flooring and comfortable leather sofas which surround the TV. The fully equipped kitchen/dining area features bright worktops, a Tassimo coffee machine and a plump armchair, an ideal spot to keep the cook of the family company. A wet room and accompanying WC add convenience to the ground floor. Upstairs, a family bathroom plus a double, a twin zip-and-link, and an en-suite king-size bedroom can be found. A travel cot or Z-bed can be included in the king-size bedroom for an additional cost. The smaller cottage comprises an open-plan living space with a similar decor; take a seat in the lounge area in front of the TV or at the four-seater dining table in the kitchen. On the first floor, you can choose between a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room or a twin bedroom. There is also a family bathroom. Outside, both barn conversions are surrounded by a large, shared garden with farmland views; each cottage also has a private patio area with wooden furniture and parasols.

A ‘home from home’ well equipped cottage in a picturesque location, very accessible by car to all of the beautiful Suffolk coast. Lots to do and see. Excellent host and loved the home made cake on arrival

The combined use of both cottages was ideal for our large, multi-generational family (including one disabled adult for whom the wet room was a necessity). We moved the garden furniture from the Dairy across to the Granary so we could all dine together on the patio. The provision of toys and garden games in the shed was excellent, especially the three pedal tractors in different sizes that exactly matched the sizes of our three grandchildren ........ not sure what we would do if we came next year with a fourth!

If you are looking for a quiet and comfortable place to spend a few days I would highly recommend these properties. We rented both cottages and were very impressed with the level of service and attention to detail. Everything you could need and more. Leaflets showing local places to visit and restaurants etc, DVD’s, games and toys for the children with a good sized lawn area for them to play on. We will definitely be returning for another stay.
