On the ground floor, there are two bedrooms with double beds, both styled in calming, neutral decor whilst one enjoys the use of an en-suite for convenience. When the sun is shining, the garden is a wonderful place to be with a large sloping lawn overlooking the river and a pretty terrace for al fresco dining.
Spend a day in the spa town of Harrogate (10 miles) and indulge at one of the local tearooms serving up tasty treats, including the iconic Bettys Harrogate. Here, the architecture is awe-inspiring and gardens such as RHS Harlow Carr offer a tranquil escape from the buzz of the main town. For an outdoor adventure, explore the national park with a visit to the unique geology of Brimham Rocks (2 miles) or Fountains Abbey (9 miles) for a spot of history, each offering an invigorating walking route with plenty to see along the way.
