Lovely house in a good location not far out of town. You do need your own transport. Ample parking space. Very friendly owners. The only thing I would say is that if you were thinking of taking someone with limmited mobility the downstairs bedroom is great but the only showers are upstairs. Wouldn't hesitate to book it again.

We had a fantastic stay at South View ahead of a wedding and a day at the races in Thirsk. The property was absolutely spotless, really well equipped and incredibly spacious- which made it so easy for six adults to get ready without feeling cramped. The outdoor space was also a real highlight, with lovely seating and stunning views across open fields. It was the perfect base for a special weekend and we’d definitely stay again.
