This rural cottage is located off a steep hill on a working farm close to the North Yorkshire Moors, with some of the regions most impressive scenery right on the doorstep. The village of Osmotherley is a pretty village, boasting three pubs, all of which are within walking distance of the cottage. The village is also the starting point for the picturesque Lyke Wake Walk, a 40 mile walk across the moors to the coastal village of Ravenscar, making it a great choice for those who enjoy outdoor pursuits. The Cleveland Way National Trail also runs through the village while Wainwright's famous coast to coast walk passes close by. For those looking for more restful activities, the area is home to a range of interesting sights and attractions including the town of Helmsley, Rievaulx Abbey, Mount Grace Priory, Lightwater Valley Theme Park, and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway The front door of this charming characterful property opens directly into the kitchen/diner well equipped for all the budding chefs with electric oven and hob, washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and TV, a great place to enjoy good food and conversation.
