Reviewers consistently mention the spotless condition and fresh smell of the cottage, indicating exceptional cleanliness that contributes significantly to the overall positive experience.
The location is generally well-regarded for its proximity to Scarborough, beaches, and pubs. However, some guests mention concerns with parking and traffic noise, which slightly detracts from the location score.

The welcome pack and dog treats are frequently mentioned, reflecting the owners' thoughtfulness. It should be noted that such gifts, while appreciated, may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay.

Lovely welcome pack of biscuits, wine and crisps. It was so relaxing , very comfortable, lovely fully enclosed area back and front for the dogs safety . Well appointed property . Lovely log burner with a basket of logs and lighting equipment was a very nice touch . Cinder path very close to walk safely to Whitby or Scarbrough . We ate at the 3 jolly sailors 15 minutes walk away for amazing home cooked food dog friendly .our second stay and would definitely stay again 10/10

Cottage was clean and had good facilities. Could perhaps do with one or two upgrades (TV, dishwasher) but everything worked fine. Very generous welcome pack left for us - thank you. The only negative was the main road that the cottage is on, which is extremely busy with HGVs and speeding traffic throughout the day. However, this wouldnât put us off returning and didnât affect our sleep.
