Brompton is a pretty village on the outskirts of Northallerton; there are bi weekly market days on Wednesdays and Saturdays when both sides of the high street are home to stalls selling a wide range of goods and produce. Situated equidistant between the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors, the opportunities for exploration are endless. These include a day at the races, a family trip to the seaside, a visit to some country houses such as Newby Hall, Kiplin Hall, and Castle Howard, or a round of golf. The quaint town of Bedale is just 11 miles away; the cobbled streets are lined with independent shops. Take home some delicious local cheeses, explore the unique 12th century church or take in Yorkshire's finest scenery from the winding Wensleydale railway. After dinner, make yourself comfy on the sofas and light the wood burner whilst watching a favourite film on the Smart TV. On warm sunny days, open the bifold doors to allow the outside in and enjoy the wonderful views. When it's time to retire, there are two bedrooms: a king size and a super king size zip and link (can be made as twins on request).
