Situated between the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors is the beautiful village of Brompton, and the property sits opposite its magnificent 12th century church. The village inn is renowned for its delicious food and warm welcome and is just a short walk away. Take a 30 minute walk or jump in the car and head 2 miles to the market town of Northallerton, where the high street offers a bi weekly traditional market where you can stock up on local produce. Step out and find walks in any direction including the coast to coast walking route. The opportunities for exploration are endless by foot, car or from Northallerton's mainline station. Enjoy a day at the races, a family trip to the seaside, a day out in Harrogate or York, country houses such as Newby Hall, Kiplin Hall, and Castle Howard, or take in Yorkshire's finest scenery from the winding Wensleydale Railway.
