A few minutes walk from Skipton’s bustling town centre, yet with peaceful walks on the doorstep, Whitehorn Lodge offers an ideal base from which to explore the area. Skipton, ’Gateway to the Dales’, has a thriving town centre with a large variety of shops, restaurants, pubs and tea rooms, a Medieval castle and canal along which boat trips can be taken. It is also host to a market four days a week. Picturesque Grassington, is only 15 minutes drive with Wensleydale, Swaledale and Ribblesdale all within an hours drive.

Whitethorn Lodge is a little gem of a place.It is very comfortable clean , has all you need to enjoy your stay in Skipton.Easy walking in to town , along the canals plus the castle woods .And the owner is extremely helpful .Plus you can park outside the cottage

The Lodge was comfortable, the owners were very pleasant and Debs welcomed us and explained how everything worked. Located near towalk to Skipton Woods - pleasant route into town. Excellent choice of buses from Skipton and great places to eat.
