If you can tear yourself away from this heavenly oasis, venture into the centre of Wigglesworth where you will find the Plough Hotel & Restaurant or venture slightly further afield to Long Preston, where there is a traditional pub and a village shop. Alternatively, make your way to the market town of Settle, where you will find a good selection of restaurants and pubs and a public swimming pool, whilst Skipton is home to even more amenities and an ancient castle, a beautiful old parish church and a colourful market to explore. Avid ramblers can don their walking boots and look forward to exploring the labyrinth of treks upon the Yorkshire Dales National Park with a variety of landscapes to enjoy, including rugged moorland, picturesque valleys and wooded areas, with the famous Three Peaks promising to be an interesting challenge.
