Guests say

Craven House in Skipton is highly praised for its spaciousness, comfort, and prime location close to local amenities and attractions. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, ample bathrooms, and the warmth of the property. While parking and Wi-Fi connectivity are noted concerns, these are minor compared to the overall positive experience.

Guests consistently describe the property as clean and well-maintained, contributing to a welcoming and comfortable stay. Occasional comments on minor oversights do not detract from the overall high standards of cleanliness.

The property's location is frequently highlighted as ideal, being within walking distance to Skipton's town centre, supermarkets, and tourist attractions. The convenience of the location receives high praise from guests.

Numerous reviews commend the property for its comfortable furnishings and cosy atmosphere. The presence of a warm Aga and the ample space for large groups contribute to the property's overall comfort.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the well-equipped kitchen and the number of bathrooms. However, some guests mention the need for sharper kitchen knives, more reliable Wi-Fi, and additional maintenance in certain areas, which slightly impacts the score.

There are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate the level of thoughtfulness. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Also easy walking distance to the station. A big Tesco is just round the corner! We couldn't always park in front of the house, but there was enough parking in nearby roads for our 3 cars. There are a lot of stairs (up to the front door and to each floor). The owner is very friendly and helpful. The lounge has lovely comfortable sofas, and the dining room is perfect for a big party. The little ones loved the basement games room. We had a wonderful family holiday with 12 of us.

The living room, dining room and kitchen are very spacious. There were plenty of bathrooms and the house was very clean. It is only a few minutes walk in to Skipton. We would definitely visit again.
