Might be a good idea to just mention the fact that you need to park in nearby streets. Also that it is easily walkable to town centre and railways station-all very useful indeed. A lovely stay in a beautiful area.

As we had a long journey to Skipton by train for a 2 week stay, I requested via Sykes Cottages if towels could be provided. I received a reply from Sykes Cottages who had contacted the owner to say that towels would be provided. When we arrived at the cottage there were no towels in the bathroom. I phoned the owner who said he hadnât received the message from Sykes. He informed me that there were towels in a box in a cupboard above the wardrobe. We had to go downstairs and bring up a chair from the kitchen to stand on to reach the box which was heavy and large. We found 2 bath towels and a hand towel at the bottom of the box under a pile of bedlinen. 3 toilet rolls were provided for 2 weeksâ stay.
