You can access wonderful fell and riverside walks from the doorstep, along with cycle paths, and of course the opportunity for any keen cyclists to ride the 2014 Tour de France route. Just a short drive away is the small village of Thresfield, Kettlewell and Buckden boasting spectacularly beautiful limestone scenery, or Grassington which one of the most charming villages in the Yorkshire Dales, where you will find traditional stone cottages, galleries, restaurants and shops, which are clustered around the cobbled market place, plus a monthly farmers' market provides a mouthwatering range of organic and homemade local produce.
