Up stairs was a bit tight, the double bedroom could do with a smaller bedside table so that another could be placed on the other side of the bed with its own table lamp however we got round this with some furniture moving and using the laundry basket. The bathroom could also do with some extra shelving as there wasn't enough space for four peoples toiletries. We would also suggest some hooks in the enclosed porch area for wet coats, leads etc to drip before coming into the main hall. These were however only minor inconveniences and would not stop us from highly recommending no4 to anyone who was looking for a holiday base in that area.

Very clean & spacious especially the lovely kitchen/diner. All very welcoming from opening the door; especially the cookies + the hot water bottles in beds. Perfect location for great walk up Pen-y-Ghent. Lovely location & scenery. We had 3 generations; need to be careful on steep/ narrow tread on stairs. 2nd toilet was a great bonus with 5 guests. Sofas are a bit low for oldies
