Part of a high quality conversion of the former police station and courthouse, Cragdale Penthouse has retained its original features while also oozing style and comfort. There is a large en-suite master bedroom with kingsize bed, plus a second twin bedroom and adjacent family bathroom with Velux windows, which are perfect for gazing at the stars from the bathtub. The open-plan kitchen and living area lead out on to the terrace through bi-folding doors. From here you can enjoy al fresco dining while watching glorious sunsets over Castleberg Crag.
Situated in the heart of Settle, a short walk from the bustling market square, you have a lovely selection of independent shops, cafés, bars and restaurants at your finger tips. The area is renowned for its wonderful walking with routes taking you from your doorstep out over the surrounding fells. The Pennine Bridleway and Malham Tarn are both close by, as are the Three Peaks which are brilliant for those seeking more of a challenge. The train station is just a short walk away and offers trips along the Settle-Carlisle railway, taking you through the Dales and over the impressive Ribblehead Viaduct.
The market town of Skipton is just 20 minutes away offering cobbled streets dotted with shops, bars and restaurants, as well as a picturesque canal and regular boat trips along it. The Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Lake District National Park can both be reached in under an hour. We had fantastic stay at Cragdale. The flat is spot on. I booked for a week so my son could revise for his GCSE’s and also relax and enjoy the surrounding area. Well accommodated flat with a few minutes walk into settle which has plenty of places to eat and drink. I would definitely recommend Cragdale penthouse and I would stay again.

Apartment is very spacious, plenty of storage and absolutely everything you need is there. Things that are sadly lacking these days were provided, toothbrush holders, toiletry holder in shower, bath towels to fit anyone, extra crockery and more. Beautifully finished and absolutely spotless. Welcome pack the best ever. The number of stairs would be an issue for some but this apartment is worth it. Settle shops, pubs etc literally just around the corner but it's peaceful even sat on the large balcony admiring the view. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent apartment, beautifully furnished, very well equipped for self catering, extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. Very good communication with owner, very helpful and swift responses. Settle has everything you could need and beautiful countryside walks from the door. Recommend the Talbot Inn in Settle and the Black Horse in Giggleswick for excellent food.
