Cross Hills is a charming village on the outskirts of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, only a picturesque drive from the busy metropolis of Leeds and the world-famous village of Haworth. The village features a busy centre with stores, cafés, and other restaurants, as well as a variety of local businesses providing everything you might possibly need for your Yorkshire holiday. Skipton, known as the "Gateway to the Dales," is a little farther out and gives the chance to visit an 11th century castle, old forests, and meandering lanes packed with wonderful facilities.

Very close to the Leeds & Liverpool canal for lovely walks. The pod was equipped with everything we needed, including a lovely hot shower. Unfortunately we found the bed very uncomfortable as the mattress is very thin.

In spite of the wet weather we were warm inside. It was well equipped had all we needed. The area was lovely . Had several walks . The white Lion was good for meals when we didn't want to cook. It was nice to meet Nina who was very friendly.
