p Proudly operating as Central Leeds only independently owned luxury hotel Quebecs just exudes elegance and grandeur. This Grade II listed building is all about comfort in stylish surroundings. The exposed wood paneling stained glass windows and roaring open fires really help to sell that Victorian heritage. Quite simply magnificent. /p

p The room chronicles /p

p No two rooms at Quebecs are the same but that doesn t mean they don t all hit the same high standard. Quite the opposite in fact. Fall into a deep sleep on the Egyptian cotton bed linens as you get cosy under their duck feather and down duvets. Luxurious comfort if we ve ever heard it. The rooms are also fully equipped with air-conditioning Freeview flat screen TVs free Wi-Fi personal safes and a well-stocked mini bar. Useful for when you fall in love with your room and never want to leave even for alcohol. /p

p All guests enjoy complimentary access to the Nuffield Health Club just around the corner from the hotel. You can take advantage of the gym exercise classes swimming pool and spa if you want to keep up your strict exercise regime on your city break. Not to mention the sheer beauty of Quebecs inside and out. The kind of hotel you d take home to meet your parents. /p

p Wining and dining /p

p Now there are a couple options here. Settle down in the comfortable leather seating with a cocktail in one hand and a burger in the other at The Porter s Lodge Bar & Lounge. Venture to the top of Quebec s famous oak staircase and relax in The Gallery. Surrounded by stunning stained-glass windows this lounge is the perfect spot for afternoon tea and just a little bit of curious people watching. Last but certainly not least is The Conservatory. This is where the morning magic happens with Quebecs award-winning breakfasts. Start your day with a healthy (or not so healthy) portion of sausage and bacon whilst looking out over the Leeds rooftops. /p

p Exploring the neighbourhood /p

p Quebecs is pretty much within walking distance of everything you d want from the city centre. Victoria Quarter is just a 5-minute walk away as are the other Leeds Central shopping destinations for the retail addicts amongst you. There are also a slew of bars and restaurants a few streets over at the Greek Street and Park Row intersection. Leeds City Train Station is literally right around the corner from the hotel. The only thing not in walking distance is an airport with Leeds Bradford Airport being a 30-minute drive away. Although everywhere is within walking distance if you re ambitious enough. /p

Directions to Quebecs

By Car: From the M1 follow signs for Leeds City Centre M621. Take Junction 3 off the M621 and follow signs for the City Centre Loop.

From the A1 take the A64 York turning off the A1 and follow signs to Leeds which will bring you to the inner ring road flyover just before the flyover turn left following signs for the M621 until you reach the City Centre Loop.

Quebecs Street forms part of the one way City Centre Loop so take caution not to miss us as you will have to go round the whole loop again. When you pass the Hilton Hotel (on your left) and go under the railway bridge move into the middle lane still following signs for Leeds City Centre. As you come through City Square ensure you are in the left hand lane and look out for the Quebecs flags.

Parking: Being a city centre location there is limited parking available at the hotel. The seven available spaces are allocated on a first come first served basis at a charge of £15 per night. Due to the limited spaces the hotel cannot pre-book spaces for guests. Pull up outside and pop in or ring Reception and we will advise on space availability and give access to the car park.

Additional parking is available to Quebecs guests at Q-Park Criterion Place (Sat Nav LS1 4AG). With a total of 500 spaces available 24/7 at a reduced charge of £12.95 per 24 hours standard charge £15.00. Park your car take your ticket and on check out we will issue a voucher for use on exit.

By Train: Take the left hand exit from Leeds City Station following signage to City Square cross the road and walk down the right hand side of the building to your left onto Quebecs Street the hotel entrance is on the left side of the street. Two services an hour reach London from Leeds in just over two hours.

By Plane: Leeds Bradford International Airport is 16km less than 30 minutes drive away. From Leeds City Station there is a direct rail link to Manchester Airport which takes approximately one hour by train.
