The village of Ulrome is situated between Bridlington and Hornsea making it a perfect base to visit the east coast, the Wolds and the North Yorkshire Moors.  A short walk from the house brings you to the beach at Ulrome, which is reached by steps.  Hornsea, a short drive, is well known for its popular outlet village.  There is also Hornsea Mere, which at two and a half miles long is Yorkshire’s largest freshwater lake.  It attracts wildlife and rare species, ideal for those birdwatchers amongst you. 

The market town of Beverley is one of Yorkshire’s best kept secrets and is just a 20-minute drive away.  Beverley Minster is known for its abundance of stone carvings, stained glass an. . .
