While Bempton Cliffs rspb reserve, home to one of Britain's greatest mainland puffin populations, can be reached in just over half an hour's drive, Hornsea Freeport is well known for its shopping. Wassand Hall and walled gardens are nearby, and Hornsea makes a wonderful home base for exploring the Yorkshire Wolds, North York Moors, and East Riding coastal destinations. Within a short distance are the historic city of York, Beverley with its renowned gothic cathedral, and The Deep in Hull.

Apartment is nicely decorated and in good condition throughout. Particularly enjoyed the window views across the sea and spent a lot of time just wave watching. Would happily use again.

The location is excellent. Flat is very well equipped and has sea views from the living room and both bedrooms. We would definitely visit again.

The property was larger than expected, being a "loft" type apartment. Very clean, light, comfortable and had everything you could need. Parking space an added advantage. Great views from all windows out to the sea. We took a stroll along the prom into town for breakfast, but also went further afield. An ideal base to come back to. The Marine nearby also serves good food if you don't want to cook. Would definitely return. Oh, and the shower - I would like one at home!
