Hornsea is an unspoilt seaside town with an unassuming charm. Take a visit to Hornsea Mere, Yorkshire s largest freshwater lake which gave the area its name, Lakeland by the Sea . Here you will find rowing and sailing boats and an opportunity to see some wonderful wildlife. Situated less than 30 miles from the busier resorts of Bridlington and Scarborough, you could also drive or catch a bus to the beautiful market town of Beverley, or visit Hull, the UK s City of Culture 2017 and home to The Deep Aquarium. There are also various stately homes and gardens to visit within a few miles and the Yorkshire Wolds, made famous by artist David Hockney, are only 20 miles away. There is seating to the front of the cottage which makes the most of the summer sun, but this space is not enclosed. There is off road parking for one car. Smart TV in the lounge. 2 small dogs welcome (dogs are not permitted upstairs in the property). Enclosed patio garden to the rear and seating to the front. Off road parking for 1 car. Pub and shop within walking distance.
