Small but has everything you would need and the welcome pack was much appreciated. Very clean but there was a very faint "doggy" smell, which didn't bother us. It does have a great shower - I wish ours was as good! Pehaps the only thing lacking was a drainer for the washing up. The Old Milking Parlour is well equipped, and much of the stuff in it looked brand new. The bed was a little bit firm for us but you will never please everyone with a bed! What's right for one is wrong for another. A good place in a nice part of the country at a good price. We were very happy with it.

A really interesting area historically too. Quaint villages built in local stone with tiled roofs, many with duck ponds. The Milking Parlour was perfect for myself and two dogs. It was clean, well equipped and comfortable.

When I arrived at 5.15 pm I knocked on the main farm door, to enquire about access to the cottage and was greed by a very disgruntled man, who id obviously disturbed. He keyed the number into the key lock and told me to to put the key back in on leaving the property. No friendly word at all. The guy needs to brush up on his people skills. Property was spotless and very roomy to say in was only one bedroom, it’s an ideal hideaway. However it advertises for.dogs. This is certainly not a dog friendly property. There is no enclose space for the dog to go out to relive its self. They request that your dog does not relive its self in the court yard. As this is not enclosed area you have to walk on to the road side. Not a very good idea at 3 In the morning for a woman on her own to be doing. I cut my time there by two days.. certainly not a dog friendly venue,
