Most guests found the caravan to be clean and well-maintained, with only a minor suggestion for a spring clean indicating a generally high standard of cleanliness.

The location is appreciated for its peace and quiet, with proximity to fishing ponds. However, some guests found it too remote and had concerns about accessibility and local amenities.

Absolutely shocking location. Nowhere to walk with dogs unless you first want to walk on a very narrow road either nowhere to go if a car comes, no light in the area at all, we arrived after dark and couldn’t see a thing. There were 2 pubs relatively close that allowed dogs and after checking opening times on google we arrived at the first to it being closed. We then arrived at the second one to find it had been hired out privately for the day so we had to go back to the lodge and order a takeaway. After 3 phone called about confusion as to the location, our food finally arrived but cold and tasteless. These were the only options locally unless you wanted you wanted to drive 10 miles or more. Unless you are going specifically for a fishing weekend, this is not the ideal holiday home as although I like to be quiet and remote, this is quite literally in the middle of nowhere. Finally, it’s meant to be a dog friendly location but upon arrival we noticed a passive aggressive notice telling us dogs were not allowed on the furniture or in the bedrooms but yet als not allowed to be left alone? This meant having to sleep in the living room to ensure we adhered to these rules. The note also said we had to make sure all fur was to be removed before leaving but yet they left us a hoovered that was less useful than a chocolate fireguard

We absolutely loved our stay at Margaret's. The caravan is very well looked after, as it was very clean and cosy. The hosts also have laminated instructions around the caravan for WiFi, how things work etc which made it stress free for us. The location is perfect if you want a relaxing few nights away because the surrounding is quiet and there’s only the odd car that drives past at night. The caravan also has private fencing around which was perfect for us to have abit of privacy. Me and my partner loved the hot tub, it was just amazing for what we wanted! The host Andy was very friendly and sent me a message to make sure that I got the codes ok before we got there. We hope to book again soon! And we absolutely recommend Margeret’s if you want a peaceful few nights away! Thank you for letting us book Margeret’s😊
