Guests say

Ladysmith is a well-received holiday cottage, praised for its spaciousness, well-equipped nature, and additional features like a games room and hot tub. It's a popular choice for family gatherings and group stays, offering a comfortable environment and a welcoming host. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is positive, with guests enjoying the property's amenities and the enclosed garden for pets.

The majority of guests found Ladysmith to be clean and well-maintained, with only one review mentioning the need for a deep clean. This suggests that cleanliness is generally of a high standard.

The property's remote location is appreciated for its quietness and proximity to wildlife, though some guests found it a bit tricky to find. It's not within walking distance of local amenities, which is a minor inconvenience for some.

Guests consistently praise the comfort of the beds and the spaciousness of the rooms. The property seems to cater well to large groups, offering a comfortable stay overall.

Facilities like the games room and hot tub are highlights, but some guests mention issues with water pressure, Wi-Fi, and minor maintenance needs. These issues slightly detract from the overall high regard for the property's amenities.

While guests mention welcome gifts such as chocolates and wine, there are not enough references to consistently assess the host's thoughtfulness across all reviews. It should be noted that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

Great house with loads of space for our multi family break. It’s really well equipped with everything you need, and more, including a welcome box of chocolates and bottle of wine! The children loved the games room and hot tub. The adults loved the comfy king size beds. There is also a fully enclosed garden and lots of extras for the dog, such as bowls and blankets. The host, Heather, was very welcoming. Thank you!

The place itself was amazing! The host was so friendly and helpful with everything. The place was clean, looked after and provided with necessities, even had a welcome pack :) The only tricky part os the road getting to the place, but it is very remote so that’s expected! Thank you for having us☺️

This is a lovely place for a large group, the house has everything you need. Heather the host is on hand to answer any questions and bring extra equipment. The games room and the hot tub were bonuses for us.It's a good hour and fifteen minutes walk to Leven which has everything you need. It's a great base for days out, lots to do.It's a little hard to find, it's next to the nature reserve so lots of wildlife around and the noises associated with that. It's quite a noisy house, the fire doors slam and some other doors need a good tug to shut, we had three little ones napping at different times though! The grounds are perfect for kids and dogs alike, lovely walks from the door step.
