About this property

Resting in the quaint village of Beeford in the East Riding of Yorkshire is Eaton House, a contemporary, four-bedroom dwelling. Enjoying a central position near a host of amenities, whilst a short drive from the beach, Eaton House welcomes 8 guests and two furry companions, ideal for both friends and families. Park up on the private driveway before entering the open-plan living space, light-flooded through the sleek bi-fold doors; be welcomed into a stylish space where you can prepare delicious meals, dine and relax upon the plush sofas with the woodburning stove alight. For some peace and quiet, locate the sitting room, also featuring a woodburning stove, offering the ideal space to delve into a good book with a glass of wine in hand, before socialising in the enclosed garden, complete with a patio, lawn, sheltered decked area, outdoor furniture, and barbecue. When sleep calls, venture inside to find four well-appointed bedrooms, including a king-size with TV, two doubles and a twin, all serviced by a contemporary bathroom, adorning marble tiles, and a handy shower room. Awaken to a cup of coffee in the garden whilst planning your itinerary, starting off with a hike through the nearby Skerne Wetlands, or continue further on to explore Tophill Low Nature Reserve, both peppered with wildlife. Head to the shoreline, recommended to stop off at Bridlington Animal Park, a firm family favourite, Bridlington North Beach & Promenade, and both Bridlington Priory, and Bridlington Old Town Gallery for cultural activities. Hornsea is also a prime area to visit whilst on your travels, enjoying stunning coastlines and bays, and Bugtopia Hornsea Zoo, showcasing a diverse range of specifies and events. Enjoy all of this at Eaton House.

The small linear village of Beeford lies in the Yorkshire Wolds betwixt Driffield, Bridlington and Hornsea - yet within 10 miles of Beverley. The two main streets are lined with a mixture of old and modern properties. There is Post Office, butcher's shop, a pub and a fish and a chip shop. Additionally there are several churches lining the main street. Surrounded by rich agricultural land, Beeford is a good location for exploring the pretty market towns of the Yorkshire Wolds such as Market Weighton and Beverley. The seaside resorts of Bridlington and Flamborough lie a few miles to the east. The rspb reserve at Bempton is only 14 miles away and during the summer the cliffs are alive with puffins, razorbills, cormorants and gannets.

It was everything we expected and more. It was perfect, had everything we wanted, spotlessly clean and smelled gorgeous. We enjoyed our short stay so much that we were gutted when it was time to leave. We are hoping to stay for a weekend in summer next!!x

So many lovely touches around the house. Super comfortable bed and lots of luxurious additions. Only negative was that previous guests had apparently removed the pizza/baking trays! Sad that some people can’t respect the property of others…

This house has been furnished to the highest standard and has everything that you could possibly need. The house is beautiful and in a really great location for the beach, a local bakery/butchers, local shop and most importantly for the younger members of the family, Mr Moos ice cream shop! The owners have been so helpful and friendly and nothing has been too much trouble. The welcome basket was brilliant too as we were all a little peckish when we arrived. We can't recommend this house enough and can't wait to come back again next year.
