Enjoyed the welcome basket with fresh eggs & the log fire. Very friendly owner helped us with local knowledge. Would highly recommend a walk on the moors, castle museum, Robin hoods bay & pop to see the seals at the drinking dinosaur!

The owners are very helpful and friendly and gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. The cottage itself is cosy and inviting with the log burner and restful settees in the lounge. The beds are very comfortable and it is so quiet we had great sleeps while we were there. The kitchen is well equipped and we appreciated the food essentials left for our use. The cottage location is good, on a country road heading out of the village and it is possible to walk to the local pub to enjoy a delicious meal. In the summer it would be nice to sit out in the garden and watch the birds and try the walks across the fields. We would definitely recommend.

The kitchen was especially well stocked with cooking utensils and a good sized fridge/freezer. Simon and Jacquie were welcoming and immediately responsive to our requests. We would highly recommend this delightful cottage.
