We've stayed at Rockville cottages now for a number of years. Absolutely fabulous cottages. The Shyre Stable is a particular favourite of ours . Plenty of parking off road. Plenty of room in the open plan kitchen/room. Massive fridge/freezer. 2 bedrooms at opposite sides of the building each with ensuite, so plenty of privacy if needed. Hairdryers in each room. Iron/ironing board if needed. And my personal favourite a dishwasher (i dont have one at home 🤣).The summer house in the garden is lovely and every night we sat and watched the bats, the stars (as not much light pollution) and if you're lucky the owl. The cows are usually in the next field however this time it was a beautiful white horse that came to say hello every night and evening to our doggie Judge. The adjoining cafe to the cottages is lovely, as well as a peek at the Richard Burton art gallery also situated within. There's easy access to lots of things to do locally including an antique place a few streets walk away plus 2 ponds to feed the ducks. The local community centre is a one minute walk away that sometimes has local fairs. Bridlington town, Flamborough, Sowerby hall with museum house +zoo+landtrain, Bempton bird sanctuary etc are all local drives away..

Lovely place to stay with RSPB Bempton within walking distance. Owner very helpful and friendly - his local knowledge of the area and where to visit was much appreciated. Clean and tidy with comfortable sofas and beds. A few more mugs would be a useful addition. Lovely tearoom just at the top of the road which included the owner’s gallery. Well worth a visit.
