This is a great house for a family holiday. It is spacious, comfortable and the garden is safe for children and dogs. The shower was very powerful and the beds were comfortable. The air fryer was very useful and we were pleased that the fridge freezer is bigger than the one in the photograph. As commented in a previous review the televisions can only be used using apps. This wasn’t a problem for us but we couldn’t get BBC iPlayer to load in the living room. Having an additional television and sofa in the kitchen was great for supervising children while cooking. We were very lucky with the May half term weather so Bridlington was busy but street parking still wasn’t a problem. This was despite the house being a very short walk from the seafront. Very large cars would be a squeeze in the parking at the rear of the house. David was very helpful, although we didn’t have any problems during our stay, and he even let us stay an extra couple of nights without charge as there wasn’t a booking in place. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The accommodation's location is excellent with a short flat walk to the beach. It was spacious and the ground floor bedroom was a bonus for the member of our party with limited mobility. There were however some negatives, mostly minor, that one should be aware of: The velux window in the downstairs bedroom did not have a blind that we could see, or if it did, anyway to operate it, so the bedroom occupant had to cope with moonlight shining in and early sunrises - not ideal. The kitchen couild have been better equipped, having only a chefs knife and a bread knife, it needed a couple of vegetable knives as well as a sieve, whisk and some kitchen scales. There were no instructions for the oven and the buttons were worn on the front which meant operating it was trial and error. The microwave hadn't been cleaned from the previous occupants. The TVs were internet only and did not show live TV, with only one of them having iPlayer, it wasn't a show stopper for us, but in all the years I have rented holiday accommodation this is the first time I have come across this. I can guess why, but it feels a little penny pinching to me. All of the lounge furniture, apart from the sofa in the kitchen, were too low and soft for the elderly members of our party to get up off easily. Again fortunately we came supplied with board games and most evenings were spent around the dining room table, which had comfortable chairs. The padlock on the garage was rusted open, so it couldn't be used for lockable storage. There were a few lightbulbs that needed replacing. Regarding the parking at the rear, in my opinion, if one needs to get more than one car off the road they need to be small cars. Having said all of this I would happily rent no3 again, I would just bring more kitchen equipment with me.
