About this property

Perched on outskirts of the coastal town of Bridlington, a bustling seaside settlement just a short drive south of the North York Moors National Park, lies this charming, two-bedroom holiday home, Lodge 7 - Seabreeze Retreat. Boasting off-road parking, a well-presented, open-plan living space, and a tranquil countryside setting, this lovely property welcomes a family of four or a group of sharing friends for a refreshing stay in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Park up beside your new lodgings and breathe in your peaceful new surroundings. Step inside and be greeted by a tastefully-laid out living area, complete with a fully-fitted kitchen that is bound to make the chosen chef happy; a dining area with a table seating four; and an inviting sitting space where you and your loved ones can gather to watch a film on the sleek, Smart TV as you kick back and relax on the plush sofas and chair. As the sun begins to set, enjoy a glass of your favourite drink on the enclosed, outdoor decking, before you head back in for a rejuvenating shower. When sleep calls, two well-appointed bedrooms with ample storage await to whisk you off to a night of well-earned rest. After you've savoured your morning coffee, rally the troops and head out to explore what your local area has to offer. Head to the nearby Southcliffe Mini Market to restock on essentials, before you settle down for a hearty pub lunch at the Lobster Pot on your drive into Bridlington. Once you're in town, pay a visit to the historical landmark of The Bayle Museum, enjoy some family-fun at the Dino World theme park, or even take your spades and buckets out onto the lush sands of Bridlington South Beach, the perfect spot to while away the day when the sun is shining. Whatever you choose to do during your next stay in East Yorkshire, be sure to do it from Lodge 7 - Seabreeze Retreat.

South of Scarborough and Filey on Yorkshire's east coast is the seaside town of Bridlington. On either side of the old harbour, two award-winning beaches with golden sand are teeming with activity. Beautifully constructed promenades provide everything from amusement parks to peaceful nooks where you may sit and people-watch. A interesting contrast to life on the beach, where the most recent episode of Dad's Army was recorded, Bridlington's shops, sights, restaurants, and historic "Old Town" can be found there. The Bridlington Spa Theatre on the waterfront offers nighttime entertainment. In addition, the East Riding Leisure Centre has a family swimming pool in addition to a number of other indoor pursuits. The charming towns and landscape of the Yorkshire Wolds, the nearby resorts of Filey, Scarborough, and Whitby, and the breathtaking historic coastline are all further away. The rspb bird sanctuary in Bempton, Sewerby Hall, Danes Dyke, and Flamborough Head with its cliffs and caves are just a few of the attractions in the vicinity. Excellent for bird and environment enthusiasts as well as sightseeing.

The welcome pack of milk, juice and a fruit bowl is a lovely touch. The site is well very kept although we were a little disappointed to find no onsite amenities as it is 7months since we last visited and a notice upon entering the site last year stated that amenities would be forthcoming. Nevertheless it did not spoil our stay and we had a lovely break.

The lodge is spacious with top quality furnishings and extremely comfy beds. Linen and towels are excellent quality and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The owner Paul was welcoming and informative and the site is clean and well kept. We will definitely be returning to this lovely lodge. PS A fan would have been welcome as it can get quite hot in the lodge with the extreme temperatures we had last week but that is the only minus.
