Beautifully designed promenades provide everything from fun-fairs to quiet places where you can sit and watch the world go by. There is also the East Riding Leisure Centre, with family swimming area and a variety of other indoor activities. Further afield are the picturesque villages and scenery of the Yorkshire Wolds, the neighbouring resorts of Filey, Scarborough and Whitby and the spectacular heritage coastline. There are numerous places to visit in the area, including Bempton's rspb bird sanctuary, Sewerby Hall, Danes Dyke and Flamborough Head with its cliffs and caves. Stairs a bit of a challenge first time with heavy luggage, but team members who greeted us kindly offered assistance. Plenty of opportunity to take a breather if needed, as chairs provided on each floor. Wonderful views from our apartment. Would definitely stay again.

The space was perfect for 1adult & 3 young teenagers. There was everything there that you need. Beds & lounge area really comfy and the sea view is just amazing on a sunny day. Only negatives are the shower pressure is very low so took ages to wash our hair. Maybe a larger shower head would improve this. The stairs are challenging but so worth it when you get up there. I would definitely return as we really enjoyed our stay here.
