Beverley 8 miles. This outstanding period farmhouse set in the idyllic rural village of Leven, near Beverley. Newly furnished throughout along with wooden ceiling beams, the property boasts contemporary accommodation which is ideal for families and friends who wish to enjoy time together in one of the most rustic parts of the country. The farmhouse is accessed through the front door and hallway, complete with a cloakroom and WC. The hallway then leads into the open plan lounge, seating six people, with a three piece suite, armchairs and a flatscreen TV there is space for everybody to relax. The property also comes with Sky TV, a DVD player and WiFi. With a large lounge area and a cosy logburner fire, it provides a wonderful sociable space to sit and linger over a communal meal. The kitchen area is complete with fridge and ice box, dishwasher, gas hob and electric oven, washing machine, freezer and microwave and Belfast sink. Alongside the kitchen is the stunning dining room and table with a exposed brick featured wall sitting under a large velux window. The property consists of one double bedroom, complete with chest of drawers and high beamed ceilings, one twin room with an oak wall feature and one super king bedroom with chest of drawers, walk in wardrobe and en-suite shower, basin and WC. The lounge also comes with a logburner for cosy nights and leads on to a conservatory with a dining area. Through the conservatory doors leads out to a garden area complete with a hot tub. The local pub, the Hare and Hounds is a one minute walk and the New Inn Pub and restaurant a five minute walk away into the village centre along with a Costcutters supermarket, a fish and chip take away and a post office. The property is also 1.2 miles away from Hainsworth Park and Golf Club for afternoons away. A beautiful property in the heart of East Yorkshire which will leave you with everlasting memories.

Leven is a rural village situated approximately seven miles from Hornsea and eight miles from Beverley in the East Riding of Yorkshire. The village is home to two pubs. A short drive will take you to Beverley, with its Gothic Minster and bustling twice weekly market. Beverley is full of history and there are plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. Leven is a well-located holiday base for exploring the surrounding area.

    This cottage is simply outstanding. It is extremely spacious, well equipped and immaculate. The decor is very quirky just to our taste and the added addition of hot tub and log burner, especially in December were just a brilliant. The owner was there to greet us with a lovely warm welcome. Actually don’t have words to recommend this place high enough. Will definitely be back.

    She was brilliant, and couldn't do enough for us. The Old Wagon Shed is, by a mile the best property I've ever booked. It's stylish but also very homely. It was spotlessly clean, warm and beautifully presented. The Christmas tree and decorations were beautiful too and we felt very spoilt with the lovely welcome pack. I can't recomend this property and host enough. We have already started thinking about when we can return. Thankyou Helen for a really special long weekend.
