Cheviot can be found in the heart of the pretty village of Walkington just a short drive from the historic town of Beverley in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
A detached property with private hot tub, this house is ideally suited for a group of friends or family to come together and celebrate. Step inside and the heart of this holiday home is the open plan living space, decorated in neutral tones and flooded with natural light from two sets of doors leading out to the enclosed garden and a roof lantern above the dining area. The large seating area offers a selection of deep filled wrap around sofas which are ideally placed to enjoy an evening in front of the Smart TV. The immaculate kitchen sits to one side and offers an array of appliances to make your stay an easy one. Take a seat at the central island and enjoy a morning coffee, or perhaps partake in a glass of wine whilst watching the chef in the group prepare a delicious home cooked evening meal which can be enjoyed at the large dining table. A small utility room with washing machine and separate toilet complete the ground floor facilities.
During the summer months throw open the doors and enjoy the enclosed garden and patio. The garden furniture is well placed to make the most of the mid-day sun, and a large private hot tub will provide the ultimate place for a relaxing dip. Cheviot has four bedrooms for you to choose from, two being en-suite. All bedrooms are beautifully presented with luxury soft furnishings and plenty of storage. The accommodation is completed with a house bathroom.
The village of Walkington has everything you will need from a selection of village pubs serving great food and real ale, to a local convenience store. A short drive will bring you to the neighbouring town of Beverley. Here you can enjoy a day at Beverley Races, explore the open green space of Westwood, spend the day exploring the cobbled streets and the plethora of independent shops and restaurants. Beverley is also well known for its thriving music scene in the evening. A little further afield are the traditional seaside towns of Hornsea and Filey, perfect for a day at the beach and a fish and chip supper. With easy access to miles of cycle routes and footpaths, with great road links to both York and the East Coast, Cheviot is the perfect holiday home for your East Riding of Yorkshire holiday.

We had an extended weekend in celebration of my 60th birthday with family and friends. The space was perfect we loved all eating together at the big airy dining table. The crockery and cutlery supply is excellent. The beds are superb, so comfortable with great quality pillows. I always travel with my own pillow, but no need here. The house is at the side of a busy road but, the fact that your car can be pulled off of the road is great. The double glazing is very efficient at blocking out the road noise. The whole house was spotlessly clean and very well appointed. As others have suggested the lack of bedroom curtains is a drawback and made for poorer sleep quality in some of my guests.The hot tub made us all happy, we thoroughly enjoyed it and were so impressed that a huge quantity of hot tub towels were also provided. We had the foresight to bring a gazebo to cover the hot tub, this made our weekend as the weather was less kind to us. We all enjoyed it so much i think we may be sharing many more events here. Lovely spacious house, light and airy. Well equipped, there was everything we needed. The hot tub was a big hit with the family and the garden was nice and secure for the dogs.Good location for walks, handy local shop and near to three pubs. Only 11 mins into Beverley.

Lovely house that was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The house layout and secure garden was perfect, and the hot tub was a very welcome bonus. The beds were comfortable, the only small point is the main road can be noisy of a morning, and the blinds let a lot of light through. If you’re a light sleeper I recommend taking an eye mask and some earplugs!Lovely area with nice pubs either side and a little convenience store tooWould definitely recommend, and will use again in future
