Snaptrip says

Knowle Lodge receives high praise for its stunning views, peaceful location, and comfortable accommodation. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, cosy log burner, and the secure garden for dogs. The property's remote hilltop setting offers direct access to walks, contributing to a tranquil and restful stay. While the approach road's condition is noted, the charm and tranquillity of the cottage seem to outweigh this minor inconvenience.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviews consistently mention the cleanliness of the property, describing it as 'well presented', 'clean', and 'cosy'. The high level of cleanliness contributes significantly to the comfort and enjoyment of the guests' stays.

The location is highly praised for its amazing views and peacefulness, with direct access to walks and proximity to Hebden Bridge. However, some guests mention the challenging road leading to the property, which is steep, narrow, and has potholes, slightly affecting the score.

Guests find the property very comfortable, highlighting the super king bed and the warm lounge with a wood burner. The comfort of the lodge is a recurring theme in the reviews, suggesting a high level of satisfaction.

The facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen and secure garden, are appreciated. However, some guests note minor issues such as storage space and maintenance concerns like mould and flaking paint, which suggests room for improvement.

While guests express gratitude for the hospitality and some mention a surprise bottle of bubbly, there is not enough consistent information about thoughtful gestures such as gifts to accurately score this category. It should be noted that while such gestures are appreciated, they are not guaranteed.
