When you can tear yourselves away from this beautiful base, explore the local area by foot, with a plethora of fantastic walking routes from your doorstep you can explore the many wonders of West Yorkshire with ease, stopping off at the nearby local pubs, The White Horse and The Ring o'Bells for some home-cooked food. Collect all your essentials from the local farm shop, Robertshaw's Farm Shop, so you can prepare for your day with a hearty breakfast in bed, or make your way into the centre of the village to be met by a choice of eateries; The birthplace of the Brontë Sisters, Thornton offers a variety of cafes, shops and pubs to choose from.
