Boasting many of the original features, the main living area features a cosy sitting area with feature fireplace and woodburning stove, exposed stonework and the original ceiling beams, which all combine to provide a cosy retreat, ideal for curling up on the sofa and reading a good book. A modern kitchen and small dining area complete the ground floor accommodation. A beautiful staircase leads to the first floor where an open area provides a double bedroom with lovely en-suite and a staircase leads to the single bedroom, contained on a mezzanine floor overlooking the main bedroom; an interesting and quirky feature of this Haworth cottage. Contemporary styling and modern furnishings are evident throughout this Haworth cottage, providing a great base to settle in for that long deserved break and enjoy the many delights of this historic and scenically beautiful area. A great location for a romantic break, with excellent restaurants, cafes and good old fashioned, traditional pubs on the doorstep. Steeped in literary history and formerly home to the Bronte sisters, Haworth has much to offer, including a variety of walks, allowing visitors to follow in the footsteps of Catherine and Heathcliff by wandering the fantastic, rugged moorland. Skipton is nearby, voted as the ‘Best Place to Live’ in Britain in 2014, with its cobbled streets and delightful castle, while further afield is the Victorian spa town of Harrogate, boasting fabulous shops, an excellent theatre and the fantastic Royal Pump Room Museum. Haworth is a small village located in the area of the Yorkshire Dales known as Bronte Country and was the home of the Bronte sisters. Haworth offers interesting shops, alleyways and cobbled streets and sits amidst fabulous countryside. Visit the Worth Valley Railway, featured in ‘The Railway Children' film or the Bronte Parsonage Museum. Skipton and Harrogate are an easy drive away.
