The Snug on the Cobbles is a well-loved, beautifully decorated cottage in Haworth, receiving high praise for its modern amenities, cosy atmosphere, and thoughtful touches. Guests appreciate the convenient location, powerful shower, comfortable bed, and the welcome basket. While ideal for couples, it may be snug for four. The attention to detail and responsive hosts contribute to a memorable stay.

Reviews consistently mention the cottage being spotlessly clean, with everything appearing new and well-maintained, indicating a high standard of cleanliness.

The property is lauded for its perfect location on Main Street, with easy access to local transport, beautiful walks, and friendly surroundings, making it an ideal base for exploring.

Guests find the cottage extremely comfortable, particularly noting the luxurious bedroom and powerful shower. However, some suggest it might be cramped for more than two guests.

The cottage is equipped with modern facilities like a Ninja air fryer, washer/dryer, and smart TVs. One review suggests the need for more practical additions like coat hooks and a simpler coffee maker.

The hosts' thoughtfulness is evident in the personalised touches and welcome basket. While such gifts enhance the experience, they are a gracious gesture and may vary with each stay.

The small village of Haworth was home to the famous Bronte sisters, who were inspired by the surrounding moorland to pen their novels, which have become classics of English Literature. Haworth is a village that time almost forgot, with its myriad of curiosity and antique shops, alleyways and cobbled streets creating a wonderful period atmosphere, all set against a framing backdrop of countryside famously described in the novel Wuthering Heights as wild, rugged and barren. Nearby, the famous Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, an authentic steam railway brought to prominence in the film The Railway Children, provides a lovely day out with a regular service to the old village of Oxenhope. The area abounds with popular places to visit, including the Bronte Parsonage Museum, East Riddlesden Hall, and the National Railway Museum in York. The market town of Skipton, often fondly regarded as the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, is just a short drive away, and also within reach are elegant Harrogate and vibrant Leeds and Manchester.

The owners obviously love the cottage and have put in a lot of care and attention to detail. Centrally located in Haworth with pubs/restaurants all within walking distance. Parking pass at a nearby pub and enjoyable walks on the moors from the doorstep. The only downside was that our week went by far too quickly!

Spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Lovely welcome hamper and toiletries too. Perfectly positioned in the middle of the village, to the bottom of Main Street with an amazing array of independent shops and eateries, yet at the top of the park leading down to the railway and beyond. We plan to return in the (not too distant) future.

Was so clean and cosy. Bed was super comfy. Didn’t use kitchen (except morning coffee’s) as so many places to eat along the Main Street but looked well equipped. Will definitely keep this cottage on my favourites for when we visit again. Owner communication was excellent.
