Guests say

Hawthorn cottage in Keighley is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and prime location near the canal, offering lovely walks and convenient pub access. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen and the property's suitability for both couples and dogs. While some guests mention minor issues with facilities and a lack of welcome gifts, the overall sentiment is positive, with many looking forward to returning.

The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests consistently noting it as clean and well-maintained. One minor issue regarding 'little visitors' was mentioned, but it was not attributed to the property's cleanliness.

The location is frequently commended for its proximity to the canal, local walks, and a friendly pub. Its central position for exploring Yorkshire and nearby attractions adds to its appeal.

Comfort is well-regarded, with guests finding the cottage cosy and well-furnished. However, some guests noted the steep stairs and difficulty with the bath/shower for those with mobility issues.

Facilities are generally praised for being comprehensive and well-equipped. However, there were comments about steep stairs, a high bathtub, and a maintenance issue with the toilet, which slightly affected the score.

While guests appreciate the overall standards and quick responses from the owner, there is no mention of welcome gifts or additional thoughtful touches in the reviews, so this category cannot be scored.
