The owner of the property was very friendly and lots of information was provided on things todo and see in the local area. The Studio is an annex connected to a busy home, the accommodation was clean with lots of space, there were lots of comings and goings from the owners, visitors/guests with vehicles. Unfortunately the environment wasn't suitable for our BC dogs as they couldn't really go outside without constant supervision and they are outdoor dogs given the choice, there is a resident dog (which was friendly and inquisitive, standing at the glass doors checking us out, following us around) but this was an issue for us with dogs who don't play with other dogs in a strange environment, the property has a lovely outdoor well maintained gardens but unsecure perimeters/hedges with lots of bunnies (to chase), and a connected field with sheep and cows. There were external works on the property on the Sunday we stayed which involved lots of hammering wood for a prolonged amount of time and the smell of wood finishing products which were an inconvenience as we wanted to relax with doors open. We booked 7 nights but left by day 4 due to a personal circumstances, but the above experiences were a deciding a factor in leaving early as well.
