Upstairs there are two further bedrooms, a double and a twin which are sure to provide a lovely retreat at the end of the day. There is a well-equipped kitchen, ideal for preparing meals for the whole group to enjoy in the dining room with its lovely vaulted ceiling, a family bathroom and a separate shower room. The sitting room has an inviting woodburner, an old piano and panoramic views of the surrounding countryside which will take your breath away. Outside there is a lovely extensive lawned garden where you can sit and relax whilst enjoying a refreshing drink and the lovely views while the children play safely. Take a short stroll into the village of Oakworth where you will find a small selection of pubs, restaurants and shops. There are many walks in the area and just a 10 minute drive brings you to the old town of Haworth which with its many shops and eateries makes it a great day out. Further afield is Skipton, with its cobbled streets and castle, offering access to the Yorkshire Dales. The Victorian spa town of Harrogate boasts fabulous shops, an excellent theatre and the fantastic Royal Pump Room Museum. This character cottage is a lovely holiday base, at any time of year.

Oakworth is a small Pennine village just two miles from Haworth, overlooking the Worth Valley, made famous by the filming of the classic 1970 film version of E.E. Nesbitt's novel, The Railway Children. Besides its close proximity to Haworth and the moors, Oakworth has an attractive ornamental park, and is within easy reach of the town of Keighley.
