It's well-equipped, with a cosy atmosphere and convenient location for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and Bronte Country. While most guests had a delightful stay, a few mentioned minor issues with heating and parking.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage is consistently described as spotless and very clean, with numerous guests highlighting the cleanliness as a standout feature. Only one review mentioned a need for additional warmth, but this does not detract significantly from the overall perception of cleanliness.

The location is praised for being well-situated for walking routes, local attractions, and its proximity to Haworth. It serves as a great base for exploring the surrounding areas. The only minor drawback mentioned is the noise from passing traffic by one guest.

Guests find the cottage extremely comfortable, with special mentions of comfy beds and sofas. The cosy atmosphere and personal touches contribute to the comfort level. There was a single mention of a mattress needing replacement, which slightly affects the score.

Facilities are generally well-received, with the cottage being described as well-equipped and having features like a play area and wood burner. However, some guests noted issues with heating control, damp wood, and the absence of a garden, which impacts the score.

The hosts are commended for their thoughtfulness, with many guests appreciating the welcome packs, which often include treats like scones and prosecco. It's important to note that such gifts, while frequently mentioned, are a gracious gesture from the hosts and may vary.

Although the weather was cold for this time year but I do feel there should have been enough wood for the weekend. We have never had that problem with a sykes cottage before we even had to buy toilet roll which we have never had to do in a cottage before. The cottage is in a lovely position and it was a very comfortable cottage just a few things that disappointed us but overall we had a nice chilled weekend.

With great features. Alison made us feel so welcome, with the welcome pack which had home made delicious scones, butter & Jam. Tea, coffee etc and a bottle of Prosecco. We loved every minute of our stay at Greenfield cottage and would definitely return. Weather wasn’t the best whilst we were there, to get out doing all the lovely walks located near by. (We did a few). But was happy to relax in the cozy cottage playing boards games in front of the log burner.
