Four miles away from Daisy Mount is the village of Haworth, made famous as the home to the Brontë sisters. Walk in the footsteps of the Brontes to explore the wild Yorkshire Moors, such as Ponden Kirk and Haworth Moor, and discover the landscape, such as Wuthering Heights, Bronte Waterfall, and Alcomden Stones, that captivated and influenced their work. 3 miles away is Ponden reservoir, which offers Canadian canoes, rafted canoes, and paddle boarding for all ages. Branshaw Golf Club is situated 4 miles away on ‘Bronte country moorland’.

Skipton is the ‘gateway to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Parkwhere its medieval castle and bustling market create a lively day out, plus within driving distance are the city of York and delightful Harrogate.
