It is a lovely place to stay and relax, so well thought out, Farmer Des came over to give us our keys and show us around and he was the loveliest man. The hut is super comfy, from the lovely. Armchairs ( seating is normally a bit of an issue in huts) to the restored bed from 1857!, everything has been thought about, great use of space,,everything you need is there. The hut has a large decking to the front, with ramp and step access, a really nice fully enclosed garden, so you don't have to worry about your dog wandering off, as well as at least 3 large fields you have access to straight from the gate by the decking. There are 2 small sheds one with kit for the chiminea and some extra chairs and loungers in and the other with hanging space for clothes, coats ,boots and bikes if you want ( there is also an ironing board and iron in there) and finally THE VIEWS !! ......did I mention the views! you can sit on the deck and look out over 4 counties, plenty of wildlife about as well. Not often I say this but 10 out of 10, a lovely place owned by lovely people, will definitely come back for another stay.

Extremely friendly and helpful from the minute we booked our stay. The lodge was a beautiful property, surrounded by nature and outstanding views as far as the eye could see. We cannot fault the place or the love owners. The hut has been comfortably designed with old feature that are unique. Des had told us that he had built the hut as a hobby and it shows his passion and dedication the the project. We are already planning our next trip there. If you are looking for peace and quiet, and love wildlife then this is a great spot about an hr from walsall. Thank you for making our long weekend feel great x Sarah and Steve
