About this property
A beautiful mid-terrace barn conversion located in the heart of the pretty Worcestershire village of Cleeve Prior, close to the Warwickshire border. A warm and welcoming feel is most certainly evident as you enter this spacious cottage. It is also clear that the property has been lovingly refurbished, with contemporary furnishings seamlessly combined with many original features, such as exposed beams. On the first floor, the two lovely bedrooms, one king-size and one twin, ensure you wake up refreshed, and there's also a delightful bathroom and the added benefit of a dressing room for all those holiday clothes. The superb country kitchen has a dining table to seat all guests, ideal for catching up with friends over dinner, after which you can relax in the pleasant sitting room which boasts sumptuous sofas and a charming fireplace, housing a warming open fire.
The rear garden can be accessed from the kitchen and the sitting room and offers a lovely patio area with furniture for alfresco dining with the family, as well as loungers, for relaxing on a summer's afternoon in the sunshine. The garden boasts a well-stocked fish pond and a splendid original well, as well as a small garage for locking away bikes and fishing gear, and an external tap offering both hot and cold water, ideal for washing your dog's muddy paws after a long walk in the countryside. you can buy local provisions from the supermarket in Bidford on Avon.

Bretforton near Broadway and Evesham is a charming village in lovely Worcestershire countryside. The village has its own shop and Post Office, as well as a character inn, owned by the National Trust. Bretforton is ideally placed for the villages and towns of the Cotswolds, the cathedral at Worcester, the history of Stratford-upon-Avon or simply strolling or cycling the surrounding country lanes.

To be so accessible to performances at the RSC in Stratford upon Avon and several National Trust properties - appropriately adorned for Christmas and universally welcoming with a seasonal spirit of conviviality - this is truly a great location. The memories of visits to local Carol services both in the village and in Evesham, Iâm sure will stand the test of time. In summary, a lovely well-equipped cottage in an excellent location with good access to an extensive range of cultural experiences and interesting places - a truly brilliant holiday, thank you!

All of the rooms are spotlessly clean with the furniture, kitchen utensils etc, of the highest quality. Wonderful dog walks from the front door and lots of beautiful places to visit by car or public transport, or alternatively spending time in the garden with a good book is recommended! Looking forward to returning.
