We loved our honeymoon at the smithy, only thing was as it was so hot we struggled as no fans, Spencer was great, very clean and tidy, hot tub was fantastic

We had a fabulous short break here. The Smithy is very comfortable and has everything you need. There is a large sunny garden area, and during the apparently hottest temperatures in June ever recorded, the hot tub was great but unfortunately too warm to use. However, the owners son removed some of the water and topped it up with cold. Whilst not quite a plunge pool, it did allow comfortable relief from the heat. The Cottage is well equipped and has a fantastic shower. Whilst there are no pubs or shops on your doorstep it is only a short drive to all you need. And there is a fabulous farm shop not too far away.It’s located in a lovely part of the world and my hubby and I would happily recommend it, and go back. One other unexpected bonus was the variety of wild birds in the vicinity. If you love our feathered friends, this place is definitely a must.
