The property consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests noting it as clean, tidy, and well-maintained. There was a single mention of a bath not being properly cleaned, but this seems to be an isolated incident.

The location is described as peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature, with beautiful walks and stunning views. However, some guests mentioned difficulty in finding the property and a lack of phone signal, which slightly impacted the score.

Guests found the beds comfortable and the property spacious, with special mentions of the garden room and cosy lounge. The presence of flies and the heat on warmer days affected comfort for some guests.

The facilities, including a hot tub and games, were appreciated, but there were several mentions of issues such as flies, lack of fly repellents, and maintenance concerns like the toilet cistern. The absence of Wi-Fi and difficulties with the hot tub heating also affected the score.

The welcome pack was frequently mentioned and appreciated, indicating a high level of thoughtfulness. However, it should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

The days we spent with excursions to the surroundings and walks on the estate. In a guide to the house some walks are described but we missed proper signage and were desperate in nowhere sometimes - maybe something to think about? Comfy seating in the garden room and cozy drawing room in the evenings - what else you look for? Definitely a place to book and return!

Lovely home a few problems that were fixed quickly except the hot tub we tried and tried to get it going (we are very used to hot tubs) but to no avail which was very disappointing especially to my granddaughter

The accommodation was ideal for us, our son and daughter in law and two children aged 10 and 7 and their dog. The property and surrounds are perfect for dog owners. The property is beautifully decorated and maintained and oh so peaceful - and it was very warm and cosy. Two things that are not particularly clear from the partifulars: Firstly, the principal bedroom and smaller double interconnect - ideal for a family of 4, but could cause difficulties if you are not related. Secondly, although there is a shower attachment, there is no proper shower over the bath, which we would have preferred. But I have to say, we did have a great time!
