Guests say

Gardeners Cottage receives high praise for its peaceful, secluded setting and beautiful countryside surroundings, offering guests a tranquil escape. Visitors consistently mention the cottage’s cleanliness, comfort, and well-equipped kitchen, with secure gardens ideal for dogs. The property is described as cosy and warm, with modern bathrooms and comfy beds. While some guests noted minor issues such as limited cleaning supplies, the need to bring matches for the wood burner, and occasional WiFi or heating quirks, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, making it a popular choice for those seeking relaxation and privacy.

Multiple reviews highlight the cottage as spotlessly clean and very well maintained, with only rare minor mentions of missing cleaning supplies rather than cleanliness itself.

Guests love the secluded, peaceful countryside location, noting its privacy and tranquillity, yet still within reach of amenities and attractions. A few mention the remoteness and need for a car, but this is generally seen as a positive.

The cottage is frequently described as cosy, warm, and comfortable, with special mention of comfy beds and modern bathrooms. A couple of minor comments about heating timing and mattress preference were noted but did not detract from overall comfort.

The property is praised for being well equipped, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. Some guests noted the need to bring matches/firelighters and suggested minor improvements to TV and bedding, but overall facilities are highly rated.

Guests appreciated festive decorations and found the hosts pleasant to deal with. While some thoughtful touches were mentioned, such as Christmas decorations, please note that gifts or extras are not guaranteed.

Enjoyed the holiday, lovely little cottage - went for the peace and quiet - sadly not as peaceful as we had hoped had a constant thumping bass beat of rave party event , albeit not nearby but could be heard inside the cottage from Friday evening till Sunday evening, however Monday was peaceful when they left.- i suspect it's not too frequent but probably wouldn't risk it again.

I stayed at this lovely cottage for 5 days with a friend and we had a blast! It's fantastic value for money, so comfortable and serene. We enjoyed waking up each morning having coffee together in the sunshine and listening to the wildlife. Lovely bathrooms, comfy beds, cooking facilities were great - just a wonderful time thank you so much!
