Beautiful lodge very relaxing and very close to alton towers. We stayed in the fox cabin and it was lovely- the hot tub was amazing and very private, beds were very comfortable, very spacious room. we particularly loved the kitchen had everything we needed eg pans,dishwasher, utensils. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. some beautiful walks in and around the site. on our last night the power went out so some of the lights and the hot tub turned off however we called the 24/7 team and they were here in 5 mins, discovered that the kettle and tripped and had it back on in 10 minutes, very helpful. However they also check the hot tubs every morning and when we first got there the temp was 36 degrees and we prefer it hotter than that so turned it higher and on the morning it had reached 40 however the man who checked out hot tubs in the morning had turned it back down which was quite disappointing.
