We stayed at Northwood Cottage for 3 nights. Whilst it looks small on the outside it’s like the Tardis. There is ample space for 3 adults to have an enjoyable comfortable stay. Very quiet location which suits us perfectly. There is a wealth of tourist information available in the cottage, both from information leaflets and recommendations from previous visitors in the Visitors book. We had a lovely few days. Our only niggle was , there was a wealth of information provided by the owners, which would have been very useful to receive a few days before departure. Not sure whether this was a Cottages.com issue. We also had to chase for the keycode on the day of departure. A point in the Owner’s notes which would have been very useful to have in advance , was a warning about the pot holes. We found no problems with roads that access the cottage . However, Shropshire as a whole, we recommend you heed the owner’s warning! Ask us how we know! Some of the main roads are pretty bad. Those farm tractors leave some pretty deep guillies. We had perfect Autumn weather so you could see them in the main. But in wet weather you wouldn't stand a chance. Again down to personal choice, but if you like a hard bed , Northwood cottage is the place for you!

We had a lovely five days at the cottage. It's in a quiet area, yet it's a short drive to supermarkets, shops and pubs. Provided amenities are excellent, and the furnishings are very nice. Very comfortable beds and furniture. Very quiet. Highly recommend
